“I have been wanting to take a fabric collage class and after admiring Lorraine Turner’s work online for months I decided to take the plunge. I must admit I was worried if I will be able to keep up with everyone as I have never done fabric collage or thread painting before but once the Webinar started all apprehensions went away. Lorraine sets up her Webinar with two different camera angles – one with a close up of her sewing machine when she is doing the demonstrations and another when she is speaking to us. I’ve taken a lot of workshops where it’s really difficult to see the teacher’s demonstration unless you are in the perfect spot but the webinar gave all of the participants front row seats! All the questions were answered and techniques were explained step by step. The best part was not packing all my fabric stash in a suitcase and incur the cost of airline tickets, lodging and meals. I would gladly wake up at 330am Hawaii time to take her class again (well another hour of sleep would help lol)! If you are looking to learn fabric collage and thread painting, look no further. You will be in for a treat to learn the various techniques which will add another layer to your creativity! Mahalo Lorraine for sharing your knowledge. You were so patient, kind and knowledgeable and I had an amazing experience!”
